This is the top of the line Cen Racing Pro chassis big block (75mph)...trust me...it's adjustable It's all done through the hub...

I'm about to leave for an alignment...how about a toe recommendation? Please....

MSFITOY: can you PM me the link to get that RC car of yours? It's awesome!
Toe: Seems like 1/8" total toe out at front, and zero toe at rear (since I got ***** for running 3/32" total toe in at rear!)

cheers,

sid- if you want to do it right, you have to take it in for an alignment
a couple of times. i took my G35C in 4 times last year until i got her
dialed-in to my setting and driving habbits. $125 each time. lol

alignment guy did not complain, he a gearhead himself and agreed
you can't get it down just by someone else's setting....only a baseline.
just got to align it, drive to try it out, align again, etc.

looking to get another alignment this year just for maintenance purpose
since i know which setting works for me.

Here's my PM back to Meb about my day of alignment:

Front camber -2.1
Rear camber -1.6
Front toe +1/16 each
Rear toe zero

Scale:
LF 829
RF 834
LR 561
RR 562

I have a weight distribution of 59.7% to 40.3% and the cross is 50.1%

All sounds good but the right side is a bit lower than the left (that's without me in it) Should I take it back or just increase the height evenly on the right side myself?

you did the alignment and corner balance with you in the car, right?

if so, then i would not be surprised if the driver side is slightly higher
without you in the car. (but like 4-5mm max if you're running close to
300lbs/in linear rate)

Yes...but I'm concerned that my front is a bit low...
Even with me in it, the right side is still nearly 3/4" lower

hummm... but if the scales are saying you are corner balanced at that height
i guess you'll have to take it down a flat road to see if your car tracks to the
right or not.

if it doesn't i guess you'll have to decide whether to go for looks
or for function.

if it does, then take it back on the scale again to get another shot
at balancing the L/R, i guess... then get another alignment.

oh well...

I wonder if their calibration is off...how can my Mini be slanted to one side and be balanced? I wish I had my own scales...

yeh, possibly... its not unusual for street cars to be not prefectly
balanced L/R, but considering my H-sports support my car flat running
lower initial spring rates, i think they may have screwed it up.

ain't this fun?

ok, i sense that sid is now in the garage saying "screw it!" and adjusting
his ride height to match the left and right side.

he's then thinking about taking the car to get another alignment tomorrow.

right?

Tell me if this make sense...

According to weight physics...I can't change the distribution front/rear or left/right without adding/removing weight...correct?

If so, with carefull addition/subtraction to the Megans' shock body rotation, I should be able to do the following without messing up the balance:

1-lift the right side by extending both shock body evenly.
2-lift the front evenly to gain ground clearance...they're around 24" to the lip right now.

My current measurements on my level garage are:

FL 24"
FR 23.75"
RL 24.38"
RR 23.94"

What do you think?

BTW...my ars in the driver seat hardly budged the measurements...

im not sure what you mean, but if you change the tilt of the car, the
distribution will change to each corner.

also, i would unhook your endlinks (1front, 1 rear) to see if they are affecting the tilt.
are you running adjustable endlinks?

You'd be right if my garage wasn't locked down for the night I'm tempted to head back to the shop but it's another day of torrential DPs here and I've already taken an extra day off for this *****

You're right however...unless someone says something contrary to my pending actions...I'm going to do just what I said...

help.........................

did you try unhooking your endlinks? your swaybar might be causing the tilt (no joke).
