Cool, but does it make a noticeable difference?

Yes it does make a difference. The feel is much better, not that it was bad before. And it looks good to!!

Can the BMP intake be removed to clean the filter without removing the strut brace?

or will you have to remove the strut brace each time you need access to the filter?

Yes you do need to remove the strut brace but only one side then lift up and you have axcess to the filter. Filter doesn't need cleaning that very often so that is not an issue for me.

Looks great! I have one question about the BMP intake does it have a cone filter and could a larger one fit in there if it is? You get the engine bay of the month if you ask me.

I was told once that there are no stupid questions, only stupid people. Well here is my question, judge for yourself.

What is the strut brace for? What does it do? What does it help improve?

Ok, that was three questions, so shoot me.

Keeps equal pressure on both wheels while in a turn. Helps cornering and steering out of corners.

No question is a dumb question....only dumb people don't ask questions.

The lower parts of the suspension are located (firmly) by subframe and body channel members but the tops of the strut 'Towers' can move around like a flagpole in the breeze ... at least on other cars; the MINI has a good, stiff body that doesn't move much ... the brace is to locate, or triangulate the tops of those towers so as to help maintain the proper relationship between towers' correct positions ... was that clear ?
