Espeler Springs

I looked up these springs and the only thing I found was that Espelir is the same company that makes the springs for m7 Tuning. Mini-Madness claims a 1.3" drop front/rear. That is the same drop as m7 springs. Does anyone know if they are made to the same specs? Meaning, are they progressive and do they have the same spring rates as m7?

I e-mailed Mini-Madness but they probably won't know else it'd be listed on their website. Hopefully you guys can help me.

Thanks

Just to clear up the confusion.....

Madness springs are not the same as ours....period.

We have many hundred sets out on MINI's around the world, and we back our product with impeccable quality and customer service.

The springs where tested, evaluted and signed of, after testing at the track,
freeways and at our incredible local canyon roads.

Ps. You get what you pay for....

That's true as a general rule. I think I may just pay the extra $150 to go with the m7 name. However, the Espelir springs are $75 at mini-madness. If Espelir makes the springs to m7 specs, then its the same quality, maybe just different spring rates and maybe linear as opposed to progressive, but build quality would be the same...

What are the spring rates of the Mini Madness and M7 springs? If both come from Espeler and have the same rates and similar characteristics (i.e., linear vs progressive), then both springs should be identical, unless the color or some other meaningless feature is different . Why don't you want to go with H-Sport or H&R?

It might be easier to find more information if you spelled it right: Espelir. I don't know if I'd trust "Active Super Down" springs, but that's just me

Well H&R's are linear are they not? I will most likely go with H-Sports or m7, probably m7 because of the lower drop, I don't auto-x or track the car and I want to tuck the 18s

It's spelled Espeler on mini-madness, that's why I spelled it like that...

It's spelled right in their picture at least

Here is the big H-Sport versus M7 spring thread; may help you to decide: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=28194

I got my M7 springs on last weekend and just love them.

I'm actually heading out to take some pics in just a few. The drop looks so nice.
