Have you checked out the KW web site, they might have some info.

http://kw-suspension.com/en/index.php

The site does have spring rates listed. The fronts are listed as Progressive, the rears are 230 lbs/inch. That's for both the Variant 1 and Variant 2.

I have seen that, but I believe that's for their street coilover setups. I doubt the spring rates on their competition setup are that soft.

I'm pretty sure they're running KW V3's.

Strom, The German MINI Challenge series uses the KW Race 2 way. Thou it's hard to believe the rates are 685 front 900 rear. I have a set on order but we are reworking the rates. These rates are close to what other Challenge series run.

If you ran them on the street you'd knock yourself out.

Yeah, we had an extra (new) set laying around and installed them on my car (a daily driver). A LITTLE too stiff for my use. I put on some PSS9s, and they're much more comfortable. I think we're going to try to sell the KW setup.

Isn't the KW Race 2-way the KW Variant 3's?

From my talking with KW, the Race 2way is not a V3. It's more of a V2 with race springs and valving. KW doesn't offer a V3 for the mini. I've been told they maybe coming out with them.

The guy who builds the Mini-Clubsports in Germany told me they used KW V3s in their race cars and that they were adjustable for compression and rebound damping???

That well may be. I'm dealing with KW North America. If you look at the KW German site you'll find different things. I only read a little German thou.

Our KW V2 fronts blew out in less than 6 months, but I hope that was a fluke.
