HELP with lowering

Hey Guys,

I just installed my M7 springs(took less than 2 hours) and 18" SSR gt1s. Car looks great but drives like crap. My steering wheel shakes a bit over 40mph. Should I take this as a sign that my car is in need of an align my front end. Anyone have any ideas? Merry Christmas

Most likely it's the wheels/tires not being balanced correctly. Rotate them and see if there is 'any' difference.

Yes shaking has nothing to do with alignment. Also were there hub centering rings put on when you installed wheels,if not that could also be it.

Thanks for replies guys. There were hub centering rings installed. These are new tires but maybe I should have them checked for balance.

Don't settle anything less than Hunter's GSP9700 when balancing your rim. Check out http://www.gsp9700.com/pub/search/findgsp9700.cfm for your local installer.

Problem solved! Tires were way off balance! Went to Prestige and had them road force balance the wheels. Just got my new brakes today! Wilwoods with slotted crossdrilled rotors Things are falling into place. Thanks for all your help guys!
