Wondering since you're unbolting the suspension if you need to do this afterward.

Nope. The rear subframe has no room for movement - the subframe just bolts and unbolts with no play.

The big draw back with the MINI is the lack of adjustment. Keep an eye out for new products - rear links that allow rear camber adjustment and front camber plates for the series 2 (post March '02) suspension.

I second that. Had my MCS up on jackstands for a couple days with the struts/springs/rear sway removed. Bolted all right back up and still tracks true.
