Front Camber = -1.5 degrees

Front Toe = 0.0

Rear Camber = -1.5 degrees

Rear Toe = 0.0

Stock springs, shocks, and sway bars. These settings give a slightly understear tendency with the ability to use "throttle off overstear". Actually looped it once in the Esses at LimeRock.

Car also has a Quaife LSD to aid corner exit. Best mod for the track in my mind. Nothing more frustrating than toasting the inside tire when coming out of a hairpin.

Track setup

I enjoy tracking my MCS with NASA HPDE and a few other club racing groups in the Bay Area.
The Cooper has over 24 track days with 4-6 sessions per track day so far.

Hoosiers R3s03, Team Dymamic Racing 205/40/17
Hot front: 38-40 psi
Hot rear: 36-38 psi

Kumho Ecsta MX shaved 4/32, Volks Ce28 215/40/17
Hot front & rear: 36 psi

H&R springs
Konis front: 1/4 turn from full hard
Konis rear: 1 turn from full hard (1/2 way)
H-Sport comp. rear sway bar: middle setting
Stock sway front
RDR camber plates front: -2.5°
H-Sport upper & lower control arms: -1.7°
Toe front: 0"
Toe rear: Toe in: 1/8"
edited: rear toe in: 1/8"

Kmickey....how are you liking the H&R+Koni combo? Are they working well for track and street?

For the money, the Koni and H&R combos are great for the track.
Next best thing (in my opinion) would be Ground Control + Koni.

The setup I have right now is a little harsh for the street.
Don't drive in the rain!

East vs West looks very interesting.

H&R springs with Konis. Front Konis set 1 turn from hard, rears on third turn from hard. Maddness rear sway bar set full stiff.
18" SSR Comps, Yoko Parada Spec 2
Webb camber plates, adjustable rear control arms.
front: -2.2 degrees camber
rear: -1.7 degrees camber
0 rear toe
1/16 front toe out.

This setup has worked very well on track days. I keep the setup the same all the time, street or track.

I think the Konis make a really nice match with the H&R springs. The ride will actually be much improved over the stock dampers, even with the Konis set pretty stiff. You will find it much more controlled. They are really very good struts. I think you will be very happy with the combination.

Remember if you want the negative front camber Kmickey and I are running, you will need front camber plates and adjustable rear lower control arms. I am using the Webb camber plates, and they raise the front ride height somewhat. You will have to read some of the posts regarding this issue to determine if other plates do the same.

Any specific reason not to drive in the rain?

With the freeways here in the Bay Area kin to the Baja 500, shaved Kumhos and stiff suspension provides a wild ride when the roads get soaked.

But thats just the way I have my suspension set up.
Its not my daily driver car and I normally don't drive it in the rain anyway.
