Koni, Solo-Werks...?
Hey y'all. I'm looking for suggestions on what to replace the worn out Raceland coilovers on my R53 with. Currently looking at Solo-werks, Koni orange with lowering springs, looked at a few other options. Solo-Werks would be an easy swap since its the same style as whats on it now and they only run $500. I'm missing a bunch of pieces to go back to a stock style setup but I'd like something decent on it without spending a ton.
What do y'all run on your car? What works and what should I avoid and why? I'd prefer personal experience not "I know a guy" stories or "I read somewhere". I've done a ton of research and 90% of it seems to be opinions without experience. That said I ran Koni orange with Eibach springs on a mustang years ago and it rode and handled great. Kinda why I was leaning that way. But if there is a cheap coilover setup that isn't half bad I'm all ears.
This car is 90% daily driver with some aggressive back roads and mountain runs mixed in. I don't take it to tracks so only worried about street performance.

FWIW, the previous owner of my newly acquired GP#0092 (a talented mechanic who owns a shop) had installed KONI Orange front struts because he felt that they were very close to the original GP struts that were "toast". They're not KONI Yellows but, for the price, good value.
