Rear End bushings.

I am slowly restoring my R53.
Right now I am pulling EVERYTHING from the rear end, subframe etc.
I am looking to replace all the bushings with poly. I have 8 bushings for the control arms coming.
What else do I need? 2 bushings for the sway arm? Top mount for shocks? What else?
Anything else i should replace while Im there?
I will drop the tank to change the oil filter and pump too.

Perfect, thank you. Looks like I covered eveything. Now to see if I can fix the rear subframe. For a 20 year old southern car the subframe is a rusty horror show.

Whoo whee. Any one here remove old factory bushings? Its a stamped metal part with open "wings" and if I use a press I can easily bend it.

I haven't done this job yet, but everything I've read instructs you to remove the rubber with a torch, then cut the outer bushing casing with a hacksaw, then pry out.

FYI, you can also look here https://psbushings.com/product-categ...-cooper-02-08/ for a diagram of all the bushings in your car. They also have installation instructions located right on the product page.

I used a 1" hole saw to cut those batards out and now I am shopping for a metal cutting jigsaw to cut the outer metal bushing

I used a chisel to shove in there to keep the ends from compressing while I pressed the bushings out.

It went pretty quick and easy like this. Here is how it turned out:
