NM/Koni to Fortune Auto Coilovers

I'm currently on the NM engineering Alpha springs/Koni yellows combo and planning to buy a set of the Fortune Auto series 500's with Swift springs. Can anyone tell me what the spring rates for the FA's would mostly resemble the NM springs I have on now? I'm quite happy with the way the car rides now but I'm looking for more adjustability and I'm not happy with the way the rear sits. The 6k/5k spring rate seems to be the recommended rate for the FA's on the R56 but I just want to be certain that it won't be too stiff as I live in Toronto, Canada where we have pot holes galore. I know that this is not an apples to apples comparison and any advice would be very much appreciated.

Cheers!

You are losing a little bit of suspension travel with the coilovers vs the spring-strut combination, so you don’t want to go too soft. I’m running the Megan a racing coils on my Clubman with 6/6 spring rates, and the comfort level is ok although a bit stiff. Not sure I would go less than 5/4, but I am also curious what others might suggest…
