F55 Rear Dust Covers after Trimming Bump Stop

Hello All,

Last night I installed the NM Lowering springs on my F55 MCS.

After trimming the bump stops in the rear, I am unable to hang the dust covers back up firmly.

Anyone have a trick on how to hang these back up on the bump stop?

Thanks.

Thank you for posting that. My issue is that I cut a little too high up on the 'bump stop' which took away the spot to hang it back up on. I may just remove the dust covers....they make a lot of noise just flopping around back there.

I presume it’s the rear?
better to buy a new pair.
They are part of the springs progression.
They are NOT bumpstops.
NM chose to have you cut them for a purpose.

H&R doesn’t want them cut since the springs are stiffer.

Yes, the rear. I am not going to remove the bumpstop. Just the dust cover. I cut maybe 3mm too high and can no longer hang the dust cover on the bumpstop.
