1 inch lowering

Looking to lower my r56s 1 inch. Only 1 inch since I live in San Francisco and the roads are horrible. I read about NM springs but they are slightly too low for me. Do any of you guys have knowledge about which springs give a 1-inch drop? thanks

Says the drop will be about 1.4"

ECS has some JCW springs that advertise .98 inch drop.

R56 MINI Cooper S here:
https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2007-...nsion/Springs/

Godspeed are about 1" drop. Swift are around .75-1" , madness is close to that.

JCW are about 10mm lower than stock Cooper S

These are the ones I was referring to. They say they are for both S and JCW.

edit... just noticed that you have a 2007 and these don't fit. Sorry for the distraction.

They are known in the MINI world as a 10mm drop and are called in to order the right ones with your VIN.

We will update the description. Thanks

I ran TSW springs (purchased from Way Motor Works) for several years and was happy with them. They are about 3/4" drop.

Even with a moderate drop, you may want to think about getting shocks. My car rode better and was more controlled with koni yellows than the stock shocks.

Here is a nice setup on the marketplace, if you have $$ to spend now. JCW red springs, Bilstein sport shocks, and new strut mounts to increase front camber a bit.

Have fun,

For a minimal drop there is very few to pick from and looks like they are all mentioned in this thread.
Question is when picking out the bunch, what are the spring rates, because they are all different and can provide a soft or very firm ride depending on which springs you pick.

https://www.waymotorworks.com/megan-racing-r56-lowering-springs.html and https://www.waymotorworks.com/tsw-mini-performance-springs-r56-r55-r57.html
says for the Megan's .5" front - .75"rear and for the TSW's 1" front - .75" rear
