1. stock x-lites

2. flik wasps 17x7 et 42

please tell me ill be fine!!! or if i need spacers but... im hoping i will at least be fine wit the fliks w/o spacers for now as it is still the summer and these will be on

i wanna do spacers for the wasps anyway to bring them closer to the fender but what about the x-lites, will they cause rubbing even at the highest setting for the coilover? i will be running these in the winter so i dont care about the drop

So why do the KWs rub when other coilovers don't? Would my standard bullets rub?

It's not just "some" coilovers that can cause interference issues.

There are MANY things to consider - ride height (meaning where you set the lower perches), wheel offset and tire width must also be considered. Depending on where the lower spring perches end up, you may get rubbing on the tire or wheel as a function of the tire width and offset of your rims. And, in some cases, no matter where you set your ride height, the offset or tire width may be an issue! Also, if you're running a BBK, the hat may or may not be as thick (or even thicker as with our BDM BBK) as the stock rotor. All of these factors have to be considered.

We just installed a set of AST's on a customer car running some generic 16x7 wheels with a +40 offset and 205/50R16 tires. We could get our index finger between the spring perch and the tire, so that obviously wasn't an issue. However, this customer also had two sets of track wheels - one with a +42 offset and the other with a +40. We advised him to pick up a set of 3mm spacers for the +42 wheels, else he may find himself SOL if he showed up for a track day expecting those wheels/tires to clear everything.
