The Oem's are expensive! Has anyone had success with any of the aftermarket ones? Do any of them give a performance enhancement ala reducing cornering setup, mid corner correction stability, or improving directional (other than the camber plates, dont want to do that).

I suggest you look into Ireland Engineering fixed camber plate. Like OEM, but with ~1.5 degree more negative camber. Built in tower protection.

Thanks for suggestions. What are you guys seeing for inside tire wear with the -1.5deg plates? Big difference or minor? Im planning on doing the 22mm wmw rear sway. Will -1.5 plates complement the alta or will it want to oversteer too much? Anyone have this setup?

I don't daily my car much, and have -3.5 and I don't notice inside wear because track & autocross use ruins the outside edge faster

I'm in the same boat as you, need new strut mounts, like yesterday.

I'm having a hard time deciding what makes the IE the "GO-TO" for everyone. I was thinking Lemforder, then using the saving for a nice strut brace?

Hell, I can even make my own 1/2" thick steel STD's. So not worried about the mushrooming in the future. Anyway, OP, what route did you go and how's it been for you?

Anyone want to chime in. I plan on placing the order tomorrow and unless someone can really inform me as to why the IE Mounts are the absolute best, go-to everytime...

I'll probably order Lemforder brand mounts, make my own STDs, and use the saved money for a strut brace.

Thoughts please?
Happy New Year MINIACS!
