Odd that it is still happening in the fourth year of the model. Makes me wonder how long my fixed control arms will last.

I started hearing this yesterday and mine is a 2015 F56S. It's still under warranty.
Has anyone had this fixed by MINI and did they charge for an alignment after the fix was done?

They will align under warranty.

The subframe also gets dropped.

Thats ironic, if H&R had their front sway bar out in the US, I would have gave the tech a few shekels to swap it out while it was exposed!!

Thanks

Last time they did an alignment they charged me for it. But I guess if it's related to this fix, the alignment is included.

They replaced both arms, and wishbones, aligned 4 wheels, but a new noise was introduced, so Im driving a POS rental on their dime again.

What kind of noise were you first hearing? Was the noise on the driver's side, passenger's side or both?

Popping both side.

New noise they believe is a motor mount!!!

OK, they now think the new noise is motor mounts.

Got the car back today.

Lower control arms both sides, along with wishbone mounts and bushings.
Both lower motor mounts.
Both Strut mount bearings.
Both Front Sway bar links.

Ironically, when I installed my rear sway bar, all rear noises disappeared!!
Must be from loosening and re torquing all those bolts.

Noises 95% gone, Im not going to push further.
Its only a little when I do parking maneuvers!!
