Suspension Eibach sway bar kit anyone?

Eibach sway bar kit anyone?
Just saw this, and sounds very interesting to me. Front bar is tubular 28mm, and non-adjustable. Rear bar is 23mm solid. I don't see where it lists those specs on this page, but it listed it in the search results on their site.
http://performance-suspension-eibach...r-sway-bars-96
My current setup is the OEM Sports Suspension option (I measured front bar at 24.5mm), with NM 22mm rear bar (and their end links, which I assume would work fine on the Eibach). NM springs. I like the idea of going stiffer at both ends. In my old Honda experience, a stiffer front bar made the car feel much, much tighter around town. Maybe you lose a bit of oversteer, but how often are you running on the ragged edge of traction where that matters? So yeah I'm thinking this sounds like a nice improvement in general.
Anyone tried it yet?

Yeah, I'm sure... that page is just lacking info. Go and search for the year and model, and you get to this page. Or, type F56 in the search bar, and you get this:

I tried to get the Eibach KIT in Germany for quite some time, the last info i got was: available in March 17.
So i got the NM Version with unibal linkage, it was there within one week from the States.
Even available from Billstein online ex stock, they where not in a position to find out that it was, and came finally in November with a delivery time march, the typical ONLINE STORE Weakness you find all over.
Im glad i pick the NM stuff.

Ah, good info Wotan. I called Eibach US just now, and he said they are probably a month away. I'm going to call back at that time and see if they have an instruction sheet- I'd like to see if this is a DIY or not. I took a peek down there when I rotated my tires today, and it looks pretty simple... IF (really big IF) the bar can snake out around the downpipe.

Huh, interesting about the H&R kit... TV, where are you getting that info? I see on the H&R .de site, it lists the specs as 27mm & 25mm. But does it say 25mm solid? That sounds... suspect. Like way way stiffer than the 22 - 23mm that others make.
ECS has a H&R kit as well, but theirs is listed as 27mm front and 22mm rear. Different for the US? Price is right though- just $412. Or get just the front at $217, and pair with the VIP 23mm rear.

In any case... would love to hear how the installation is. Need to drop the subframe, or remove the downpipe? I bought urethane bushings for the OEM front bar, so when I disconnect everything to put them in, I'll check if it's possible to snake the bar out of there.

That H&R kit won't fit an F56 so don't bother you'll be real mad when you get it apart and find out the hard way.
We've only had one guy get the Eibach kit so they didn't give us any feedback.

But I can say you will have to drop the front subframe to install the front bar. That is a lot more work than the rear.
Now with that said if you want to do a front bar you will for sure want the bigger rear bar so I would only do the NM 25mm with a front bar to make the car rotate still. The solid 22 or 23mm won't be enough with the front bar larger.

I was refering to the link you posted as that part number is for the older car.
I have an application list from H&R and they still don't show any for the F56, but Germany always gets them first so that could be the EU listing but don't get them here yet.

Not my post!! And you are correct, that post is for R56
This is mine:

33803-2 Is the part number.
I spoke with H&R in Germany, and confirmed it.
H&R USA is only a distributor, they might tell you otherwise, and will only import as they see fit, as in demand.
There is almost NO demand for front bars, due to the fact no one wants to go through the trouble and cost.
But a solid 27 and solid rear would make for a fine handling F56.
Im about to pull the trigger, but waiting to see what feedback I get with Tunershop.com.

Same as old US cars, using the rubber as a torsion device.
Wont be easy.

" Does it wobble to and fro? Not any more!Wow, I cannot recommend this kit enough.
My 2017 MINI JCW has the Pro coil over setup, and while it was a substantial upgrade over the stock suspension in compression, rebound and roll, it is still an OEM product that had understeer tuned in for “safety”.
After installing this kit and making a slight alteration to my tire pressures, it not only rolls significantly less, but the handling is completely neutral. It never understeers or kicks the rear end out. Turn-in is more immediate, and there is a touch more weight to the steering feedback.
The best part is how intuitively it grips when approaching the limit. When you’ve gone too far, the car starts to slide equally front to back, and control can be regained easily without sawing away at the wheel.
And for the cherry on top, the provided polyurethane bushings were painted red to match!
I set my rear adjustable sway bar to the stiffest setting, and I used equal tire pressures of 40 front to back as opposed to MINI’s suggested PSI of 42 and 39 respectively.
Thank you, Eibach, for such a phenomenal product."

They just have the front and rear kit right now, also the springs, and then the springs, front and rear kit all together.
No front sway bar options yet other than factory. Maybe down the road.

Funny how no independent shops want to touch this!!!
So everyone justifies only doing a rear bar.
I completely disagree, doing front and rear kept the car balanced, no fear of
oversteer!!!

I called Eibach directly just to double check and was told that they ran out of parts for the kit about a year ago.
The H&R kit was tempting, but I decided it would likely be more aggressive than I wanted (paired with DDC).
Ended up buying a VIP rear bar.
