05 R53 rear camber arms

My '05 was produced in June of '05 and I hear that this is the year when Mini started putting adjustable rear control arms in during production. I only plan on lowering with Tein springs so do I need to buy the Helix control arms I was planning on purchasing? Or would a good shop be able to get it into spec with the OEM control arms?

I believe for '05-06 there is an eccentric on the OEM lower control arm for camber. I do know it'll only give you a very slight adjustment. Depending on how much the springs lower you, it may not give you exactly what you need to keep the rear within spec.

It may not be a bad idea to invest in some rear adjustable control arms.

Hi TMcd29. If lowering then definitely want to look at adjustable rear control arms. Have you previously posted a picture of your MINI? Would love to see it.

Ok that's what I figure I just thought I'd check! I have posted her before in my intro post but I love to show her She's coming along nicely and is getting a Cravenspeed 17% pulley tomorrow! Just needs to be a little bit lower for my tastes!

I think all you need are the lower control arms to be adjustable. The top ones can stay stock, unless you're lowering a lot. I'm no expert in this department though.
