H-Sport camber link install?!?!?

I'm trying to install H-Sport's rear control arms, particularly the lower ones which H-Sport refers to as a "Camber Link." What combination of socket, rachet, extension will actually fit onto the head of the bolt that's near the gas tank? I've tried everything and I can't get a socket on that damn bolt to save my life.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Paul

This may help.
H-Sport has an instruction page:
http://www.h-sport.com/cgi-bin/EDCst...y=Instructions
The Rear Camber Links instructions is number 9. Good photos and a list of tools on page 2.

I've used the tools they suggest and they don't fit. They must make Canadian cars with bigger gas tanks.

I think I'll just take it to someone and get them to do it. I'm leaving on vacation on Friday and need to get this done before I leave.

I don't remember exactly what sockets or extensions I use - just that it's a bit tough - but not impossible. You'll probabaly have to bend the heat shield out of the way too.

Ya, I bent the heat shield and managed to get access to the nut but the bolt head on the other side where the gas tank is is the problem. Could be that my rachet is just a little too thick. Frustrating as I can't see this taking and longer than 45-60 minutes if my damn tools would fit.

As much as I hate to give up the fact that I'm leaving on Saturday for vacation has given me no choice. I'm off to the MINI dealer on Friday and will have them do it. :(
