'14 CMS (non ALL4, non sport suspension) looking for advice on lowering springs

Spent the past hour or so reading 2 year old dying threads on lowering springs and wanted to see if there's any update on products.

I'm currently looking to lower my '14 CMS with some sport springs (either NM or H&R). Wanting to do it for looks and spirited driving on some of the back roads here in NC; no track time for me. Not trying to break the bank with coilovers, though, I feel that most enthusiasts would advise me that I should go that route and do it properly. My concern is the camber in the rear if I just drop the CMS 1.4" or so with lowering springs. To the people who have just upgraded their springs, leaving the shocks alone with no rear lower control arms...what advice do you have and do you have any update on how your set up is going? What's the tire tread wear looking like on your rear tires? I have the stock 18's" with runflats and don't plan on changing them out and am curious to know what I'm up against should I just replace the springs. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Get the adjustable lower control arms. They are less than $200 and can be installed in about 20 min since you are under the car anyway doing the springs.

Use coupon "minilove" to drop price to $178.

These are blue not pink in color. This is a NAM group buy special price.

If i do the H&r springs, think I would have any issue with some wheel spacers also? (BMS 12-15mm rear and 10mm - 12mm front)

Might have problem if you are fully loaded. With back passengers and luggage, I was pretty low on a highway trip. If the wheels sat out of the wells there wasn't much clearance.

Ahhh, good point. I'm leaning towards the h&r springs and those are about a 1.4" drop, right?
