Help on lowering hieght

Alright so on my 05 I am on stock suspension looking to get a little bit of drop but here's my concern. I just installed new 17x8.5 wheels with 215/45 tires and I had some rubbing on the plastic fenders in the rear. After grinding them down a little no more rubbing. Now I'm looking to do like 1/2 of drop all around and not have to worry about rubbing again. Is this possible? Not really trying to change my wheel set up seeing how I just did it. Thanks in advance.

Hey I recently just lowered my r53 with st coils and have 17x8 +30 wheels with 205/45 tires. Im not super low, I just got rid of the wheel well gap and was rubbing quite a bit until I trimmed.

So with a wider wheel and more tire I think your going to have all sorts of problems....sorry to say. Hope this helps at all.

Also it would help a lot to know what offset your wheels are. With the st coils my stock wheels hit the spring so watch out for that too.

The offset is +30 as well, so I guess there is going to be to much rubbing even if it's just to get rid of wheel gap. Thanks guys.
