Help! How do I remove threaded rear upper strut mount bolt?

I'm trying to remove a rear upper strut mount bolt that I couldn't torque to 41 ft-lb (it just kept on spinning)...and now...it won't come out.

I've already ordered a new set of bolts from the dealership...but...I'm worried I can't replace it if I can't get this darn one out! Help please!

You'll need some downward force while turning the bolt. Odds are the body is stripped, not the bolt, so you may need a helicoil/timesert, or drill and tap for a larger bolt.

I was hoping for a simpler work around...

Anybody have any tips for making an opening in the wheel well from inside the cabin?

thanks Eric!
