Fitment help? (05 Cooper S)

New to the Mini world and just got some coil overs for my 05 Cooper S.
Next I want some pretty wheels and found some that I think are just right for the look I want.
However, I don't know if they'll fit right.
17x8 all around with +26 offset
Help?

Stock 17" wheels are 17" x 7" with 48mm offset. Check offset on Tirerack but looks okay. I have some used 225/45/17 tires if you're locate (Philly area).

The wheels ended up being pretty fat, and I had to stretch a 205/40 to get it to fit well. Tried the 225/45 and they literally popped my plastic fender flares off, haha. I'm down in TN, but thanks!

Time for some wide arches.

Thanks for the numbers guys. I'm planning on rocking the 8" wide soon as well.
I've found a few wheels that I might get. Now I just have to wait until the arches arrive, then throw them on and take some measurements to see what my offset will need to be (I'm looking at et20 right)

Where did you get yours? I've just trimmed the inside of the plastic fender flares, then I'll roll the metal part tomorrow. I've also got a camber kit to install before I go low on the coil overs.
