Has anyone put 12 or 15mm spacer on a R53 with stock suspension with stock size tires (205/45 17)? I love to see pics of the setup to see if it will improve the look of the stance a little

Funny, I was thinking about this just a few hours ago. I'm thinking of putting spacers on the stock S-Lites to give it that wider stance look. I don't really want aftermarket wheels after doing some research, but I would like the tires to "stick out" a little bit more.

i run 8mm spacers on all 4.
my wheels are 17x7.5 (stock is 17x7)
i run 215/45r17 tires on the front and 225/45r17 on the rear.
it sits on tein lowering springs and i have no issues with rubbing.

with a 205/45r17 on a stock wheel, you should have no problem with a 12mm spacer, however, at that point, you will need an adapter rather than a spacer, as they dont not make stud bolts long enough. so essentially what you will be getting is a plate that you bolt to the hub, which will generally have new studs, which will require regular lug nuts to hold the wheels on.

these adapters are usually much more expensive than simple spacers.
