need input for suspension
I'm wondering if the Swift springs and Koni yellows would be a good choice for the Wisconsin roads. My Mini currently has H-sport Camber plates (-1.8 camber), H-sport 19 mm sway and adjustable control arms in rear. I am about to install the Koni yellows, and thought it would be time to install springs at the same time. This car is driven for fun (never seen winter), on the back roads, which are somewhat bumpy, cracked and lots of potholes. What are your experiences with the Koni yelows and Swift set ups. I am looking into getting either TSW, Eibach or Swift springs. I read a post somewhere from rjtrout2000 of NAM where his car had to have "surgery" for the install of the Swifts when combined with camber plates, anyone else run into that?
i run camber/caster plates with swift and koni.. no surgery!
the setup is very compliant... however our tolerances maybe different
i daily drive a honda on old race setup 600lbs springs all around.. that drives fine to me
this feels very solid and not too stiff or soft... (soft for my needs, but i think they are a great compromise for handling and some comfort)
