so i have Eibach Pro-Street Coilovers on my mini s. i have noticed that that over bumps, especially speed bumps, the front feel nice and soft when i go over but the rears are hard and rough when they land. i was wondering what i can do to make it softer? would new spring work or would i have to get replacement shocks? thanks!

ok so after more speed bump testing lol. it seems only the driver side shock is blown. also looking at it it seems it got bent a bit as well so that could also be a problem. this is also the coil that has irreversibly seized collars lol. would i be able to order a replacement through eibach?

 

see if they can just service it, if not just get a new one. its worth a shot. its usually cheaper to get the thing serviced then getting a replacement one.

 

Wait the rear drivers side shock is blown? I'd be quite concerned if the shock shaft was bent. There have been instances of shocks snapping in two in the rears of these cars. BC coilovers come to mind but some searching would turn up some cases of shocks snapping. If that shock snaps it could be very very bad news.
