This isn't uncommon. Just make sure your bolts are long enough.

with the sway bar links disconnected you should be able to grab the end of the sway bar and twist it up and down to check for slickness and rubbing. make sure that the sway bar is centered on the right and left side if it is too close to one side i'm not sure it will center itself over time or not if it is cranked down tight and lacking lube.

make sure you use the right lube for the type of bushing that is on there, there is a split in the bushing take it off and lube inside the bushings, lube the outside of the bushings, lube the bar where the bushings ride, lube the brackets, the grease fittings are there for being able to grease it while it is still bolted together but I'm sure you don't have a grease gun with the right kind of grease in it. use the same kind of grease that the manufacturer recommends which most likely will NOT be regular wheel bearing grease or the like. the stuff that usually goes on those urethane bushings is really sticky/tacky and lasts a long time.

again you should be able to swing it up and down to check for contact and you should be able to pull and push it to get it slightly more centered if need be.

the first thing you need to determine is where it is rubbing before you can figure out how to remedy the situation. when you figure out the rub, post a picture and complete the post on your repair, there is nothing worse than finding a post that matches what you are looking for only to find it isn't completed with repair.

good luck

I watched the guy install mine, used all the grease that came with the bar, and added extra proper grease to the Zerts. Got in and drove off... HORRIBLE noise!

Very disappointed with the noise!

Id love for it to be quiet, but learned to live with it as the benefits are outstanding!

But after reading this thread, it gives me hope that I can have a Way bar, with out having it squeak!

Oh... any just worth mentioning.... when putting back on the bar with bushings my mechanic told me that he had to install new bolts (red arrows) because the OEM ones were just not long enough with having the extra large HSport Competition Bar back there.

Anyone else had this problem?

Well the mechanic showed me the bolt and where it had to go and its true it was impossible to use them.

The sway bar was moving and flowing freely so its not like it was bound up and stuck or anything!

Must be a Canadian thing!

i was able to fix this by putting some washers on the subframe. i used those camber washers and the sound is completely gone. I just want to ask my suspension is koni fsd and jcw springs (even with stock springs) i notice that everytime i turn or go into a parking lot i noticed that my rear wheel (one of hte rear wheel) goes up as if i'm 3 wheeling hehehe... is that because of the stiffness of the bar?

Yes. The very stiff bar does not let the suspension/wheel drop.
