Suspension spring selection help.

spring selection help.
im trying to get info on suspension setups im still looking at coilovers vs shocks and springs for this thread im just lloking for what im limitted to for linear springs. im thinking if i got for a spring shock setup im gonna do koni yellows. bit i cant seems to figure out what springs i want. any help. 1 - 1.5 inches drop would be cool too.

The car has about 2.5 inches of bump travel, including the bumpstop. So I would not lower more than an inch (and even then I'd prefer something with less drop but no one makes a spring like that anymore).
Basically for the R53, Swifts are the only real spring option left. I liked the Tein H-techs but they are hard to find.
If you must have a bigger drop, get coilovers.

Originally I bought H&R Sports as they are non aggressive enough to be used with stock struts (-1" F and -0.75" R), but recently my stock struts went so I took the opportunity to upgrade to konis. I love the way the car drives now. Slightly firmer but handles bumps so much smoother and with more control (i.e. no bounce or unsettling). Handling is much improved as well. If you don't plan on changing struts, my vote is for the H&Rs. As others have said, you don't want to go drop more than 1" on the stock struts.

I really like my koni springs I have them with the koni fsd shocks. Its a good setup but Ill be going with swifts and koni yellows when I get the chance

I believe ColinGreene sells them too. Bought VT motor mount from him and very helpful.
