Differences and #part of a standar vs sport vs jcw suspension?
Hello guys, anyone knows the # part of each spring? I own a Hot Chili S 2007 (vin: TS09309 to check it in realoem, cant find what suspension im riding), now my question is because I watched here that there's a red spring OEM for the R56, and asking to some friends with jcw/coupes here in MEXICO no one have those red springs and now a friend of mine with a 2012 jcw (called here the ''DEVIL'' version, it comes all black with red roof) is selling me his springs and they are black spings, Im not able to buy H&R or WEITEC(kw) springs because all are at 420 dllrs here... and im running the JCW body kit and with a ''too much'' lower suspension I know my front bumper will die
Already read here that the Sport Suspension is cheaper than JCW suspension, so... there's a possibility that all the JCW springs suspension comes in red color?
Thanks a lot!!!
Sorry for my poor English

The JCW comes from the factory with the normal 'cooper S' suspension. It is optional to have the sport suspension (same as the Cooper S sport suspension), or an upgraded suspension, this is the one with the red springs. The red springs lower the ride height about 10 mm. There is a set for sale in the classifieds now.
The sport suspension has different springs, shocks, and sway bars. Your shocks will have a paper label on them. The base suspension will have 'cooper S' labels on the shocks, the sport suspension will have a label with 'Cooper Sport' on it. You might get lucky and find a label that is still readable. This is probably the easiest way to figure out what suspension you have.
In the US, I believe that the sport suspension included 17" wheels, but I'm not positive.
Have fun,
Mike
