Suspension need help with rear alignment
need help with rear alignment
I had FSD shocks and a rear sway bar installed. Now I can't seem to get that alignment correct on the right rear tire. Can anyone help? Nothing looks bent or out of place.
R= -2.07
L= -1.55
R= -2.07
L= -1.55
Your changes should not have affected the alignment, but you probably already knew that. What was the alignment before? I thought that the factory spec for rear camber was about 2 degrees.

specs I think are -1.7 to -2.1-(or -1.2 to -1.6 depending on the source) but the adjustment is maxed out to get that.
It's a long story, but initially the struts were installed incorrectly--one front strut was not fully seated and was about 1 inch higher than the other. So I Started with front camber problems, and also the LEFT rear wheel that was out of spec.
Once I corrected the front struts, the front camber problems were solved,now the right rear is slightly out of spec!

If your adjustment is maxed out to try and get about 2 degrees, I reccomend that you just get them even. -1 or -1.5 is plenty of camber in the rear. If you did the free camber mod up front, you should be in that range on the front axle as well. .5 degrees of camber is not worth losing sleep over. I predict that you will be very happy if you can get 1.5 degrees on all 4 wheels.
