Boy oh boy Peter is a master salesman. $321 for a bunch of scrap metal and bolts. These braces are such a waste of money. The only worthwhile chassis stiffener is a 4-point roll bar or a full cage.

You must really want to spend that money! What have you done to your JCW already? There are much better things to throw money at than this piece of crap.

What are you looking for with your car, how do you use it? What are you unhappy with, or hoping to improve? What wheels/tires/brakes, other mods do you have? JCW Red suspension, or base or sport?

I think the TSW x-brace (under car) is a better way to stiffen the chasis.

I have a 09 JCW to start with then i put eibach spring's, hotchkis rear sway bar and camber links, and a M7 strut bar. As far as tires I have Goodyear F1's, I just heard so much about the handling of mini's so i just expected more when I put it into a turn. My sway bar is set to the 2nd setting so i'm wondering if i change that would it make a big differance?

I'm having the TSW X-brace, along with TSW springs, H-sport camber links, turbo exhaust manifold and Helix Short shift kit installed by Way on the 1st. If I remember, I'll post how the changes feel.

I had the F1's on a Mitsubishi and wasn't that impressed. Might be worth getting a tyre recommendation here before going with the brace? I have factory Continental run flats (which I'm happy with) but there are lots of people with strong opinions here...

Which hotchkis sway bar do you have? Its a pretty simple change to see if you like the RSB stiffer or softer. Do a search for the free camber mod, that makes a nice difference on the front end.

Try the 3rd setting. I run my R53 with it on the 3rd setting and love it.

Is the third setting the one closes to the bar or the tip end?
