I also think it's a good price, I got an extra $50 discount because the ebay seller happens to be 10 miles away from me and I just arranged for a pick-up.

I just had it installed and the only con so far is that the rear would only go 3 inches lower. I mean that's already the lowest it can go. I dunno, maybe there's something that we forgot to do during the install.

How is the ride? Comfortable, or super firm?

Interested! Since these seem to be the only coilovers made for front wheel drive countryman.

More photos?

I havent tested all the settings yet. I'm on street setting right now, w/c is softer than stock, I really like this setting a lot I dont bounce around if I go through rough roads or potholes. I'll test the mountain setting next week and then race setting. I'll get back with the reviews.

yeah, I was leaning towards the NM or H&R springs at first but I thought the drop is not low enough, the gap is still big.
I'll take pictures over the weekend after we reinstall the rear coils.

Pleas post some pics. There are H&R springs in my garage right now that I am going to install and I also think the drop is not enough for this car...but for the money, it will improve the ride and the gap/looks.

The Megan coilovers were on my radar, but until now, nobody had posted any reviews of them. So your thread has peaked my interest. I plan on installing the H&R springs, and upgrading to coils later.

that was exactly my plan, put some lowering springs now then save up for the coilovers later. I just came across a good deal I couldn't resist so I jumped on it.
I'll post some pictures and some reviews maybe this weekend.

Actually KW offers a pricey V3 FWD Coilover for this,(about 2x the price. they were the 1st.
There is also a $5K Japanese option

Holy!!! These things are WAY cheaper than I thought. This might be the perfect opportunity for me to dump the NM's and go with this setup

Maybe my wife will actually want to ride in the car with me. Haha

By FWD you mean forward wheel drive or 4 wheel drive

I thought the Megan ones where front wheel drive (2 wheel drive), no?

That's my understanding too.

So I don't think KW do a FWD coilover

I believe that KW lists theirs as 4WD only is because they never tested them on a 2WD... maybe they didn't have a 2WD test vehicle. Anyway, if you read Hujan's review, he talks about putting them on his 2WD. I helped him with the install and went for a ride in the car and I have to say they are awesome... but expensive. There is no issue with using them on a 2WD, they are incredible on the car.

Darna had some problems with the install of his Megans. They have ride height and spring preload independent of each other (which is just incredible at this price point) and apparently the shop that did his install didn't realize this and adjusted them wrong. Since he lives close to me I'm going to give him a hand getting it setup this weekend. I'm eager to see how they ride.

Seeing as how I've driven a stock Countryman, and then ours with the NM springs, and I went for ride in Hujan's KW coilover equipped car, then I have a pretty good understanding of the different options, so I can't wait to see how the Megans compare. If they're half as good as Hujan's KWs then that means they'll be 10 times better than the NM springs, so I'll be buying a set for our car.

I'm very excited about seeing the results of this install. Im seriously considering getting a set of these myself.

I find it is always useful to have reference links in threads – as often it saves a lot of time when looking for info…

Hmm anyone know what the spring rates are in pounds? Trying to compare apples to apples with stock and NM springs
