Suspension Alta rear sway bar and Alta end links

Alta rear sway bar and Alta end links

I just installed the 19mm sway and now I am installing the end links. From looking at their diagram with bolt and washer placement it appears to look like the end link is on the outside of the sway bar with the bolt going towards the center of the car. This seems physically impossible because the end link won't clear the control arm to connect at the bottom. Am I looking at something wrong or is it the drawing?
