Hi Guys I lowered my My clubman s with hr cupkit and i use Falken tire 452 front and rear and had it aligned as well. But now I have tire cupping on the rear tires.

I read online that if only the rear tires has cupping it will just need alignment for the rear.

Just wondering if anyone who has lowered their car experienced the same and what advice can you guys give? I will change the rear tires but need advice on what to do to prevent cupping.

Add air to your tires. They are underinflated is my guess.

 

Correct; what's you're toe reading on the rear after your alignment?

Cupping is often due to worn shocks.

Under-inflation produces excessive (but smooth) wear at both inside and outside edges.

 

When is the last time you rotated your tires? Should be done every 3-6k miles. While all the other posts maybe culprits too, lack of rotation would be the main problem.
