???Power Steering Pump????

Ok, got my mini all back together, after having a whole new complete strut tower and sub- frame in-staled. Everything went back smoothly, but i have no power steering? Checked all wiring,? all looked good.. Hooked up a second pump to harness still no luck... How does this pump work??? It has the large harness (red and orange) positive and negative. And a small harness( 3 wire) two run through harness not sure where other disappears to??? Any way to test? send juice to? Not sure exactly how it is suppose to work? Sparks the first time you throw power to it then not again for a while..
Confused???
Also any ideas why fuel gauge barley moves off empty when turned on even if tank is full.????

Just guessing you should check fuses and the big ground wire on the block.

Yeah when sparks fly usually blown fuses are the end result......anytime you do something eletrical like this best to disconnect the battery .

A sending unit in the tank may be the cause of your fuel gauge being on the fritz.
