Yeahhh... I'm having some problems with that

But I've been fine everywhere else. I might have to raise it a bit.

What size spacer did you end up having to run? And what tires? size, etc..??

I'm running 215/45 Conti DWS and I'm using a 5mm with the spring perch all the way at the top. You look lower than me so I'm guessing about a 10mm spacer?

You're at the TOP? As of tonight I'm 7 threads from the bottom. The back is a bit harder to adjust and it doesn't seem like it would lower as much as the front.

I have 205/45/17's. I keep forgetting to measure but I'm pretty sure I have 5mm spacers (car came with them).

Thanks! STs are ridiculous value for the money.

I'll take some better ones this weekend. For some reason my camera only takes good pictures when it's bright and sunny out. I'm meeting up with some other MINIs on Sunday so maybe I can get some pics next to a car at stock height.

For those of you running spacers, did you need them all around or just on the front?

I had them for just the front. You might need to get bigger than 5mm if u go lower than 2 inches

You don't need spacers for the rears.

Wouldnt it be a good idea to add the spacers anyways to keep your trackwidths equal? I know 5mm is a lot, but still...

I was thinking about this today, actually. Does it make any difference?

Like I said, 5mm is not much at all, and probably cant be noticed. I personally would do it just so I know everything was equal.

Just curious as to what the minimum drop from standard is. The Sts advertise 1.2 inches but I have heard the KWs advertise similar but in actuality the minimum drop is about a half inch. I want coil overs but not to lower more than a shade over the half inch for clearance purposes.

For the fronts, I'd say it's about 1" and the rears if you have them all the way, I don't think you get any drop at all.

If you look at my pictures, the fronts are all the way up. My rears are down about 1/3 the way. I didn't want too much lowering either. I'm very very very happy with my setup.

After about 4K miles on them, I love them. I've been back and forth in my Mini and my friend's stock mini (with his RF tires) and we both agree that the ride in mine is much much much much more comfortable.

If that s where you have them set, I would much appreciate if you could measure the height between the centre of the wheel and the arch. I have a European spec R56 JCW in Australia and reckon that would be a common measurement to both builds if there is any difference which I doubt.

Regarding spacers,I haven't checked yet but think they are illegal here and would also void insurance cover if so.

I see you mentioned a driveway problem in lowering and I have that problem too as well as speed bumps are breeding like rabbits in Brisbane. They are a problem for lowered vehicles and are getting everywhere.

Edit..I looked at the pictures and you have the body kit and same wheels if 17 inchers so a measurement at the lowest point under the front would be really great if you wouldn't mind as well. Mine measures about 137mm at the lowest touch down point.

TSS Appreciate knowing how much shipping would be to Australia as I am considering these. I have read countless posts about shocks and lowering springs and coil overs and had considered buying KWs locally but the V1s are about $1800 without the stainless body.

I'd love to know where to set them to lower my R50 on 16" wheels, I'd like about 1-1.5" drop

I don't have that measurement and won't have a chance to measure it for a while. BUT, I do have the measurement for the front bumper to the ground after lowering. I have ~ 5.5" from the bottom of the bumper to the ground. This is a picture I took after my install. By the way, there are more pictures in my gallery.
