DFW spring install

Hey!

Anyone in the Dallas/FW area want to help me with this install? I really just want someone who has done it so I can really learn the steps.. always some new project with the mini! I've read up and have a very good idea of what needs to be done.. I'll have all the tools and I'll pay you!

I called around to shops and the lowest quote I got for install was 490.. hmmmm ya I'll do it myself ha. Or, anyone know a mechanic who doesn't charge one hundred something an hour for labor?

I'm located in Dallas, tollway/lovers.

Thanks!

I got someone to do the install for $200 including alignment? Should I have him do it? He is at a mechanic at mini dealership in town? I've installed a few lowering springs on a car just not with the mini and I can get an alignment done for no more than $50. But should I have him do it?

Mini Cooper Lowering Spring Installation Cost

In Austin Texas they say 12 hours labor minimal at 100 dollars per hour. So cost would be over $1200 for the dealer to install springs. If anyone knows of a cheaper route in Texas area please let me know. They also said you have to install new struts as well as the springs, cannot do springs only per Mini of Austin.
