Koni Sport Spring Set

I was looking to put some springs on my car in the spring and look for some pictures when i noticed that tirerack has the koni sport spring set on sale for 140 (not sure how long).

I went through the suspension picture thread and found ~3 people that use these springs. What are people's impressions of them? Why do so few people use them? What kind of "real" drop do they get on an MCS?

Thanks!

Koni doesn't make them. They are H-Sport springs. Wheel arch measurements are 24 5/8 front 24 1/4 rear to give you a ride height comparison.

If the Konis are the same as the H-Sport (which sell for $230-250) then this is a steal at $140. That being said, I wonder if there's a reason you only found 3 members with these springs. Are they good springs that have been overlooked by most members or otherwise?

Partially due to preference between linear and progressive springs. Partially because you do need adjustable lower rear control arms. Partially due to peoples preference in stance as they level the roofline. The price on them is pretty good, there is somewhat of a large markup on them at retail. Keep in mind that these springs retail at 250 also. Being an employee of that company does have some benefits. IMO they are pretty good all around springs when coupled with the yellows. Mine have been on since 06 with no problems or complaints.

Do you have any pics with the suspension installed? Wondering what kind of tire gap...

Unfortunately I haven't taken the time to do many pics since 06.

I have the Koni Sport Suspension on my 04.
It has a great ride height and the handling is top rate.
Might as well get the set since you have to pull everything out anyway.
