??? SWIFT replacement springs for Koni 1150-5079 Coilovers

Does anyknow what the SWIFT replacement coilover spring sizes are to replace my worn out Koni Threaded Suspension Coilover springs?

I have an 05 MCS.

I have the Koni 1150-5079 Coilovers. They are the same set you can purchase on TireRack & Outmotoring.

There is not a direct swap of swift springs for the Konis.

You would have to get different spring top-hats and then figure out what spring rate and length spring you would need.

I would suggest you call Helix, and speak with him about your situation, as it seems like he would be the one doing your wrench work.

Yeah I am going to talk to Eric (owner of Helix) Wed but I was wondering if anyone knew what swift spings would be used for just the rear koni coilovers.

I may just dump the effen Konis pull the trigger on some new WMW KW2.

You can measure the ID of the lower spring perch and go from there...probably 60mm but could be 2.5 inch. Then for a length you will probably want 7 inch. You may also want helper springs. As KC Jr said, you will probably also need a new upper spring perch. Best to take it to a shop that knows what they are doing.

It's certainly doable. And keep us posted if you go through with it. How do you like those coilovers?

Overall I really have liked the Koni C/O's but the rear spring issue is a PITA to deal with now. The Konis have been on for over 2 years without any issues.
