Bump Stops

If i trim my bump stops will this lower the car more?

If you're using stock springs, no. With some aftermarket lowering springs it is necessary to give you the needed travel. I'm pretty sure the front bump stops are the only ones that need to be cut. I cut my front ones with my H&R springs.

Im using aftermarket springs. When u cut your front bump stops on h&r springs how much more did it lower the car?

It will - while going over bumps.

Unless the car is resting on the bump stops, cutting them will not lower the resting height. As CRoth said, lower springs call for cutting the bump stops to provide more travel for the shock.

Bump stops are used to cushion the ride if you bottom out the strut/springs. They have nothing to do with ride height.

I think many of the springs out there do actually put the car on the bumpstops at rest (which is why I'd never run them on my car).

Bumpstops are soft at first and ramp up the more they are compressed, so the change in ride height might be minimal.
