How can I lower the front?

I just installed H&R springs in my mini, the rears look great but the front is bothering me that it has a gap as the rears has no gap at all. How can I lower my front end slightly more??

No way to lower it more with just springs. You should have gotten coilovers

H&R coil-overs will bring it down to the ground

My TSW springs show a larger gap in the front also. There was a thread a little while back about someone that grinded a little metal off the stock front shock tab so that it would sit lower in it's wheel housing clamp. I believe it lowered his front about 1/4 inch.

The thread you're speaking about was by me. I have H&R's and had the same problem. I don't have time to post the entire process now but I will return later to help you. You simply have to trim the bottm of the bracket that holds your ABS line and brake hose on both front shocks. This will allow tge shock to sit lower in the control arm. I did this twice and got an additional 1/2" lower. No problems at all. Measure once, measure twice and be sure to make it all level.

PM me if you have any questions.

Chad

How about larger diameter wheel and tire combo up front, or smaller diameter in rear?

Here's the thread I posted previously on this subject;

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...front-end.html

I can barely fit the tip of one finger in between the tire and wheel arch on all four corners. Everything is even all around.

Again, PM me if you have any questions.
