Looking for the Right coilovers, Track-use & Street

Not sure which coilovers would be perfect for the Hawaii SCCA. I'll still be driving it on the street but I want the best Track Coilovers. Can anyone recommend me some?? Megans???

more than one right answer I reckon...

I've been running H&R for 120k miles, and recommend them highly...

Pretty firm on the street, but check my gallery for the attitude of the car in competition...

According to some of the fast fellas, the car is darned good.

It will pull 1.1 to 1.2 g in a corner with less than 4 deg of roll, and with rear LCAs and a bar the balance is good.

Mind you I've -2.2 deg camber out front also, which is de rigeur...

Don't skip the corner weighting by the way (preaching to the wise).

So these coilovers won't flex that much. I'm looking for the stiffest ones available for my car.

*stiffest available* - you're going to drive this on the street? You might want to invest in a kidney belt and a mouth guard.

I'm just getting back into the scene - check with Minihune 'cause he's been auto crossing his MINI since 02 or 03. Very meticulous guy, so he has done the research!

You can check with various vendors for track coilovers-

Stiff is good for track but jarring on the street. If this for track only use then fine. More adjustable is good but you have to know what and how to adjust it.
Check tire temperatures using tire pyrometer and adjust alignment for track.

Which track are you going on? Maui?

Check with

Helix13

Way motor works

I would recommend checking with Way first.

You might need front camber plates and very aggressive alignment to get the most on the track.

I'd recommend a lift kit - with regards to some of the other dumb posts I read from the glue sniffer

Can't say I would use the term "the best Track Coilovers" and Megans in the same sentence. But they are some of "the cheapest Coilovers" in terms of price.
Many like KONI Sports for auto-x but not a coil-over. Some like H&R and Bilstien and others liked the steetability of Cross. Many now like KW and AST as well, but these are not really in the "budget" range coil-overs.
