Hello all

Anyone running the Eibach anit sway bar kit? I found this kit on one of the web site and the price is very iexpensive at $305.36 and free shipping. Kit includes front 25mm bar and rear 19mm bar.

My question is how equivalent this sway bar from all the rest?

actually since you get 2 bars, that's not that expensive.

Found another site with difference company from H-Sport's

Note: At $300.00
A tubular anti-roll bar set with adjustability at both front and rear! H-Sport's anti-roll bar set greatly reduces the roll characteristics of the Mini without sacrificing ride quality. A huge handling improvement and a lot of fun to adjust and feel both front and rear.

Polyurethane Bushings And Brackets With Grease Fittings For Front And Rear

1 1/16inch Front Hollow

3/4inch Rear Hollow

Tubular Construction Saves Weight Without Sacrificing Strength And Durability

you may even be safer to change both front and rear sways to save your
endlinks too.

from my experience, eibach products have been well matched to stock
suspension parts and a very mild upgrade..which is a good thing for most
people for the streets.

Hello kenchan

Thank you for you posting. My question is: If I change the front and the rear sway bar I would not have any problems with the enlinks at all.

You also stated that eibach supspension parts have a very mild upgrade..which is a good thing for most people for the streets. but the package come with 25mm bar front and 19mm bar rear. That seem to be very good don't you think?

Anyway what and Laboy_Mini found for the eibach package sound like a cool deal on the eibach which I would like to order for my MINI

I only have the 22mm rear Alta bar.
Before installing this bar, the MCS had a slight understeer. With the 22mm bar, the car is now as near neutral as I can tell. I was told that if you do the front and rear bars, you will likely have an underteering setup again.

well, you may not have problems with the endlinks is what i said...i would
recommend getting aftermarket endlinks for any swaybar setup if it is
stiffer than stock. but it looks like most people has the madness rear
sway and while setup in the softest setting, it's not breaking the endlinks.
if you have sticky tires, it may still break as the lean of the car will be
stressed more on the car body roll.

its true that if you change both you may introduce understeer if you don't
change to a sticker tire set. the MCS compensates the tires well with
the roll that it has...it you stiffen it, the next weakest component are
your tire sidewalls. this is why i am keeping my mcs stock. Id like to
use softer sidewall tires without squeeling/peeling them off each time i
corner fast.

Hello kenchan

What you are saying is that I should change goth my front and back sway bar. Also at the same time replace my enlinks. But I thought the eibach are ok for just street driving and with some fast conor with out damage the endlinks.

If money is no object then I will replace all the suspension system like eibach [lowering spring, front/rear sway bar and an aftermarket endlinks.]

Anyway thank you for your help. I just this christmas I would have to just get myself a big christmas gifts. hehehheheheheh
