VMAXX with KW springs..?

I have VMAXX coils and unfortuanly i hate the srping rates. So I was looking at KW v1's and noticed that they seem to use the same exact spring shapes.

Do you think I could find someone who would sell me the springs from those coilovers?

Anyideas on this project? And yes Im cheap as hell. And another reason I dont want KW's is because they seem to be the same shape as the vmaxx, And i dont want to used spacers again.

What's the spring rate? I have KWs and if you don't have to run on your Vmaxx for a week or two I might be up for a swap of springs.
I'm personally looking for something a little softer than mine, because to be frank if these are the ones your going to get to soften the ride you're very wrong as nobody i know has ever been in anything as stiff as mine (no homo )

I really don't know if they are the same, simple solution would be to measure them but mine are on my car atm. I'm in the middle of something but I'll do some research tonight

I relized after some research last night, that I might want to just go witth BC coilovers. I need camber plates anyway. And It would just be better overall.

The problem I have with the VMAXX's is the travel when i hit a bump. The ride height in the back isnt too low, theres still some gap left and im ripping apart the wheel liner's. I dont know much about supension, but i would assume that changing the springs could help solve that.

The other thing i hate is using 6-7mm spacers in the front. Yea my wheels are wider (17x8 forgot offset,215/40/17) , but I feel like its the vmaxx design that is causing such a big spacer to be used. (I have a good offset for the extra inch wide wheels, ill try to get the numbe). Again, I could be very wrong on that.

Either way im doing research on the BC's, they dont seem to bad for the money. More control over the vmaxx's too.

your still going to rub in the rear with the BC's, the design of the rear coilovers are the same i believe, the fact that you got some fat *** tires back there is why you rub. you'll be better off with some super low profile tires, or getting some 17x7's instead. granted i agree with you about switching to BC's. i have the V-maxx as well, and the front spring design just pisses me off. i have to have it at the highest setting until i can get some lower profile tires...(oh and eff the rear liner... rubber>plastic, just make sure your not rubbing the bolt back there)

well the travel isnt really the problem, you dont want to be slammed on the ground and have no movement, or be all the way up and have no movement. the tires are your main problem
