Suspension Replacing rear track bars
Replacing rear track bars
While taking advantage of the hospitality of the new Mini dealer in Reisterstown, thank you guys, I was able to take a good look under a Mini from far enough away I could actually focus on it. It looks like the inner bolts for the rear track rods are impossible to get to. Is there a trick? I am planning on a set of the adjustable bars from TSW to de-camber the rear. ( R56)
Rear shocks look pretty easy. All from underneath. Fronts look like about every other strut. I can see why the front arm rear bushings are a pain, and both sway bars are totally up in there.
Again, thanks for the open-house. Very helpful to see a car in the air in good light. Surprised at how much anti-dive is in the front. On the flip side, that may be part of why it unloads so far under acceleration.

No hints? I found a PDF from one of the bar makers. " just bend the heat shield a little". OK, that would be AFTER dropping the exhaust, and does it mean dropping the rear subframe? I just can't see how one could get a wrench on the top inner bolts or have room top back them out.
