I have found the perfect Coilover fo ME!!!

I was looking for a set of coilover for my 08 MSC. I have made an order on Amazon for H&R sport coilover for $520 shipped only to find out later it was out of stock. However, that turned out to be a blessing since i have found these coilover made by an American company call AMR engineering. Here is why they are perfect for me

1- Monotube design
2- 8 ways rebound only adjustment. I heard this is more desirable then damping and rebound adjustment. Can someone elaborate?
3- You work with Andy to custom valving and spring rate for your intended application. You can switch spring if it's not what you want.
4- They use Hyper coil which is one of the best spring available
5- You don't have to reuse your stock strut hat.
6- They are cheaper then H&R rss, M7, Cross. Talk to Andy for price. He'll give you a sweet deal
7- And they have lifetime warranty

This is almost too good to be true. I'll post some picture once i get them.

Side note, Hey Andy I am sure i have just sold for you a few sets. Can i get a discount on my current order? haha J/k

Not me, but thanks.

I'v heard a little bit about AMR, no first hand experience.

Think you can get AMR Andy to post shock dyno plots?

To some they might have the "chinese cheap coilover look" but they use Hyperco springs which are great instead of cheap crap generic chinese coilover springs that suck, and i'm sure he does the valving himself. They could be good.

How a coilover "looks" doesn't usually mean anything, and a list of features rarely does either. Some are important, but a lot are marketing fluff. Would definitely like to see the dyno plots to see how they're valved. Look forward to hearing your feedback.

Give Andy at AMR a call, he'll give you a good deal. The price i was quoted is cheaper then HR rss shipped. I had my doubt about this at first since no one here with MINI is using it, but this coilover has rave reviews with other cars.
For its price and what it can offer ( read my first post), NOTHING out there can beat it. Also i like that fact that i'll be using something no else here had. The only downside is it takes 6-8 weeks to get delivered.

Well can you post a price which will be available to 90% of buyers? It's hard to claim that these are great value if we don't know the price

called him.. the ones like 'H&R rss and so on', run 1400(+or- depending on how much material he needs to buy to produce them) & with the good 'hyp- something' springs/coils....... and ones without those springs/coils would be 11-1200...got off the phone feeling more like retail then a good deal, IMO .. but he did say they make them all to order and was talking about different spring rates(or sumtin like that) and things that were beyond me...

i've been leaning more and more towards the megan coils ($850) now cause they seem good, adjustable, can be rebuilt or something like that and there about 150+ cheaper then the eibach pro street coils...
-james any thoughts?-
(i read your a fan of those eibach for someone with the resonable price point, street not so much track use, and durablility (warrenty of the eibach 1,000,000 miles).. (i've read it in another thread)
