When installed, the bearing will be moved toward the middle of the car - so when you view it through the hole in the top of the strut tower, the bearing will be shifted about 3/4" toward the inside.

I found it strange that IE didn't bother to mark the plates, but with a bit of head scratching I figured it out.

40 thousand miles on my IE plates so far & they are still nice & quiet.
