After much research (I did ask the Internet) I decided I wanted some Cross Coilovers for Phil. I went to order them from AltaPerformance and was told they would not have them in stock for 5-6 months. (I selected AltaPerformance strictly on price, as they had a 14% off coupon).

I am wondering why they may be unavailable. No longer being made? New version coming out?

Any thoughts out there?

 

Have you called any other vendors?

 

JIC-Magic/Cross just moved to a new location and they may have reduced/depleted their inventory in the process of getting ready to move, so that might have something to do with it (I'm just guessing).

I don't know why it would take so long to re-stock.

You could try calling them to get the scoop.

Leebo also has a set for sale, I know that he has a set of r53's but he needs R56. I think he was asking 2100, not bad considering no one else can get it.

 

I'm asking $1995 (see the Market post). I only needed the rear adapter bushings to fit my GP which has the aluminum trailing arms that were later used in the R56.

My plan is to go with H&R Street Performance coilovers instead of Cross now (more comfort which is important to me).

Ya last I talked with Way he had some still. One day i will get around to doing all the things I have convinced myself necessary for my mini. The wait helps me build up a cash buffer i need in these trying times.
