I received my V3 replacements and installed them last night. No more noises! The ride with the Koni Yellows is phenomenal. Much better than OEM. The defective V2s did not have the travel that these have. Driving my car is fun again!

Thanks again Jeff for the excellent customer service!

I've had mine on for about 200 miles so far. I think I herd a clunk early on but since then quiet. So far so good.

There's just too much job & special projects at work and my buddies are busy to help me as well. I've made an appointment with Mini dealer for 3.5 hours total labour charge (including alignment). I can't wait.
How's the camber in the back using stock rear control arm. Can somebody share a picture?

Hey Ed, since there is no camber adjustment on an 04 you will just need to watch the tire wear and rotate the tires every 5K min to avoid bad tire wear. I'd also chat with dealer about that 3.5 hours, I bet they can get it done in 2 or 2.5 even with alignment. Also if they don't mess with the front settings there is no real need for an alignment. Many have installed the springs and never had or needed an alignment. Just my 2 cents, Dustin

Dustin, could you tell me what the lowering will be on a 2002 MC with the V3? No sunroof, manual.

For the R53/52/50 you will get 3/4" average drop front to rear, with the front settling in about 5/8" to 3/4" drop and the rear about 7/8". Why the difference? We think all the rake from the factory looks silly. If you only want a slight drop to close up the wheel gap, look no further.
Version 3 of our MINI performance spring package includes a straight up/down front spring with no "egg" shape, allowing for more negative camber adjust without any inner fender modification. The rear springs are unchanged from previous versions.

Dustin, i would apreciate if u spend some time writing a new reply

I have already read that, but i asked again because it was not enough for me. The R50 is a lot lighter car, with different distribution, than the R53, and i wouldn't want a car half an inch lower at the back than at the front, thats why i keep on asking.

Hello Nick, I don't have any data that shows the R50 or R53 ride heights being any different on TSW Springs.

RE; TSW ride height on R50

The TSW V2 springs evened out the ride height on my R50 by lowering the rear a bit more than the front. The car not only looks better, it handles much better. I've used them with OE shocks & now Koni sports.
It makes sense to me that more weight on the same spring would reduce the ride height. (R53 vs R50) After approx 35000 miles the ride height is about 6mm lower in the front than the OE SS R50 springs & 16/17mm lower in the rear. again, that's on a lightly optioned R50 that originally came with SS springs from the factory. That does not sound like a lot of lowering but combined with 50 series tires on 15" rims everybody that sees the car knows it's lowered.
Other linear rate springs I tried on my R50 lowered the car more & it sure looked fast, but the TSW springs made the car handle much, much better.
To have one spring that works well on both R50 & R53 is pretty good engineering...
