Suspension Koni settings
Koni settings
2003 MCS with H-Sport springs and Koni yellows, no sunroof, with 16x7 SSR Cs and 205/45/16 Kumho V700s, mostly street driven with occasional track day.
Has anyone got front/rear shock settings that work well, for street, and/or for track?
Thanks for any info.

This works for me........
My car: 04'MCS with Hsports springs, Konis' & HR rear sway. This is the best I have found for agressive street, normal daily driving & sometimes track (I am very pleased):
-front Koni, 1/2 turn from full hard
-rear Koni, 1/2 turn from full soft
-HR sway: set at the most rigid setting
FYI: Wheels, 17" SSR comps, F. Brembo big brake kit, rear power slots w/ green stuff pads. Front Dinan tower brace.
After some discussion and adjustments, these settings work very well for all purpose driving(city, country twisties and rare track days.) Even if I were more of a track person I might not make any changes.
Good luck

FWIW,
I'm running 1/2 turn from full hard front and rear on the Konis, with H&R springs, H-sport sway bars front and rear, soft setting on the front, middle on the rear.
Yes, it is stiff. So stiff it lifts the inside wheels off the ground when entering driveways at an angle, which you need to do with these springs in most cases.

Im used to Tokico Illumina struts, which are compression adjustable. I guess I am having a hard time understanding the rebound adjustable thing, Could someone please explain it to me. Is the comp automatically adjusted with the rebound? Does a harder or stiffer setting mean the shock rebounds slower?
