Suspension i need a suspension solution
i need a suspension solution
Alright here is the deal, i put 17x7 wheels on my car with 225/55/17 and i dont have any rubbing issues until im going quickly over large bumps the rear rubs and the front rubs under heavy braking going into a corner and hitting a bump(way faster than i should be going on the street). I am looking for a coilover solution to my problem, the car can not be lowered at all due to my super large tires. The only coilover system i see that was availible that did not lower your car was the cross/jic magic. I liked the old jic magic products but for the cross suspension 2300 for a coilover system that is not that good is out of the question. Maybe the way to go for now is just springs, but all the springs that are stiffer also lower the car. Are there any other applications to my problem, thanks for the help in advanced

Yes, there is one coming, Megan is testing and should have a new coilover package for your R56 that you can run at stock levels. They will allow you to set the dampers soft to stiff till you find the right setup. I hope to have them for sale this month. If you need something right now, check into the BC coilovers.

As a Megan Dealer I get some info that is not public and while I won't name a date, I hope to have them based on my info by the end of the month. I can also tell you they have them made in small batches so if you want a set you will want to order them the day they go on sale.

We have not been able to fit wheels like yours on the tester. Nor do I think we will, but based on the 1st Gen MINI's I don't think you will need spacers but am not 100% sure and can't be unless I find an R56 with Megan's and your wheel tire setup.

sure $2300 is expensive but I don't get your statement "for a coilover system that is not that good". These are some of the best coilovers you can get for your MINI.
